Google-Sabre deal lets travel agents check carbon emissions for flights

Sabre, a travel technology company, is partnering with Google to provide carbon emission data to travel agents using its desktop software and later to corporations using its booking tool, GetThere. The data allows travellers to make more informed decisions based on flights' environmental impact. The carbon emissions data is currently available to offline travel agents and will be considered for integration into Sabre's online travel agency clients' systems.
