Google adds new options to join a meeting on Google Meet

“We’re changing the options for a more tailored experience when Google Workspace users join or start a meeting from meet.google.com,” the tech giant said in a blog post. Users will now see three options when they click on “New meeting” — Create a meeting for later, Start an instant meeting and Schedule in Google Calendar.

The ‘Create a meeting for later’ option allows users to generate joining information for a new meeting to use later.
