Govt to build 100 hostels for SC & ST students: CM

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced that the state government will build 100 hostels for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. Naveen made the announcement during the valedictory ceremony of Sargiful, a state-level students’ festival, organised by the ST/SC development department. Presently, 5 lakh SC and ST students are staying in different government hostels across the state, he added.
