Groom tests positive on reception night; bride & kin quarantined

A newly married groom tested positive for COVID-19 in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. He fell sick on the reception night upon which he was tested for coronavirus and turned out to be positive. Though the bride was immediately home quarantined, the other family members who had attended the function are being also tested, the authorities having collected the samples of 70 families.

Though he had given samples for testing for Covid, he had still gone to his village to get married even before his results could be declared.
