Huts of 15 families of daily wage workers were set on fire in Gujarat's Kutch district by Mohammad Rafiq Kumbhar. By the time the fire tenders arrived all belongings of the families were burnt to ashes and they were left homeless. However, they managed to escape without being injured. Kumbhar used to take workers from the Anjar town for work and never paid them, alleged Badrinath Gangaram Yadav, one of the workers who lived in the huts.
