Heavy rains cause waterlogging, traffic jams in Delhi-NCR

Heavy rains in several parts of Delhi led to waterlogging and traffic jams on Thursday, with parts of NH 48 in Gurgaon being inundated. Meteorological Department said moderate rainfall is expected on weekends and has issued a ‘yellow alert. 

A yellow alert is a warning to be aware that moderate to heavy showers are expected. Schools for classes I to VIII and private institutions will remain shut on Friday.
