Hubble discovers unique shield that protects galaxies from being destroyed

The Hubble telescope, which has been the source of unique discoveries in deep space for over three decades has revealed one more amazing feature, this time from beyond our Milky Way galaxy.
The flying observatory has spotted a corona, a protective shield of hot supercharged gas, around the Magellanic system beyond the Milky Way, which protects the dwarf galaxy from being destroyed.
