Hundreds of migrant workers begin streaming back to Madhya Pradesh

During the 2020 migration, over 7 lakh labourers and 5 lakh family members had returned to Madhya Pradesh. With the third wave, another wave of reverse migration has started from metro cities of India to Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh.
More than 400 labourers have returned home by train from Delhi in the last 24 hours. "I did not want to make any mistakes this time. Delhi is closed on weekends and there was no work for the past few days, so we decided to move back to our home," worker said.
