I-T raids premises linked to two pastors in Punjab

The investigation wing of the income tax department conducted raids at more than ten premises in Punjab which are linked with two prominent pastors based in the region. Properties belonging to pastor Bajinder Singh and pastor Harpeeet Singh Deol, who are renowned Christian preachers, are being covered in this action. So far, assessment of documents, property papers, bank accounts is underway and it is unclear what are the discrepancies due to which the raids are being conducted.
