The Indian Air Force carried out a special mission to rescue a group of 50 Covid-19 positive Indian scientists stranded in an undisclosed Central Asian country.
Sources said the 19-hour special rescue operation to bring back the scientists, who were involved in research work in that country, was planned when reports emerged that they have been tested positive for the coronavirus and needed to be evacuated from there as the health facilities were overstressed there.
