ICC Men's Test bowling rankings: Jasprit Bumrah topped the list

This is the first time that an Indian fast bowler has topped the Men’s Test Bowling Rankings chart. Before Bumrah, Kapil Dev, who was second in the Rankings between December 1979 and February 1980, was the highest-ranking player. Ravi Ashwin, who held the top spot in the rankings since March 2023, was able to pick just three wickets in the second test against England, and he has dropped to the third spot behind South Africa speedster Kagiso Rabada.
