Idukki turns hotspot for tourists during Puja holidays

Record number of tourists flocked Idukki district during the Navaratri holidays. As per figures, over 1 lakh tourists had arrived in Idukki during the recent holidays, to enjoy the beauty of the place. People dared the challenging weather and travelled to their favourite hill station. While 13,779 tourists arrived in the district on October 21, as many as 29,516 people flocked to the various tourist attractions in the region on October 22.
