IIT researchers develop marine robot for real-time underwater surveillance

The marine robot developed by researchers at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Mandi and Palakkad can cater to real-time problems and reduce maintenance costs and death risks for underwater operation scenarios. The research which was partially funded by the Naval Research Board (NRB) of Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) has been published in Journal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems, and Ocean Engineering.
