IMD issues alert for moderate rain with thunderstorm in 20 districts

On Tuesday morning, Mirzapur witnessed unseasonal rain and lightning that killed four people and injured six others. A farmer lost his life due to lightning in Manda village of Prayagraj. The thunderstorm damaged the dome of the Gothani temple in the Chopan area of Sonbhadra and crops were also damaged by hailstorms in East-Central Uttar Pradesh. The weather conditions in Western Uttar Pradesh are expected to change again by the end of this week.
