Authorities in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris district have made it mandatory for those who want to buy alcohol from government Tasmac outlets, as part of efforts to provide the coronavirus vaccine to all citizens.
Collector Innocent Divya said that about 97 per cent of the population of the district was given a dose of vaccine for the first or second time.
