The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has rung the alarm bell, stressing that India is very much in the throes of community transmission. How bad will the pandemic get before it starts getting better? From the government to epidemiologists to ordinary Indians, everybody is struggling to answer that question with confidence.
Meanwhile, India has touched another grim milestone, reporting 40,425 new cases and more than 680 deaths in a 24 hour-period, a record single-day jump.
