India logs more cases than rest of world in 24 hours

India has contributed half of the world Covid cases in the past 24 hours. Of the total 8,43,709 Covid cases reported across the world on Wednesday, India contributed over 4.12 lakh cases.
This is the highest single-day case reported by any country in the world. India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 19.26 per cent.
