India may be moving away from Covid-19 exponential rise

India is experiencing the worst phase in its fight against Covid-19 with a total of 64,399 new coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours, taking the overall caseload to 21,53,011. But there may be a silver lining, as V.K. Paul, Member of Niti Aayog, said that the last five-day data indicates that India may be moving away from exponential rise.
“If we look at the five-day moving average, we could see some kind of stabilization.”
