India Registers Record Defence Export, Myanmar Is The Largest Beneficiary

India’s Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar on Friday informed that the country has exported military equipment and technology worth Rs 13,000 crore, during the 2021-22 period, which is said to be the highest defence exports in a financial year.
The biggest beneficiary of India’s defence exports continues to be Myanmar, which according to data by the SIPRI, imports close to 50 per cent of India’s defence products from 2017 to 21.
