India successfully tests military version of MRSAM missile system

India successfully tested the military’s version of the Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) on Sunday from a defense facility off the coast of Odisha, demonstrating the system’s high killing efficiency.

The state-of-the-art missile was tested in full operational configuration in Chandipur at approximately 10:30 am from the Launch Complex – III of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur. The missile intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle that reached a ‘direct hit’.
