The Edith and Peter O'Donnell Engineering Award, one of Texas' top academic accolades, was bestowed upon Ashok Veeraraghavan, an Indian-origin computer engineer and professor, for his groundbreaking contributions to imaging technology that aims to render invisible entities visible. This award is granted annually by the Texas Academy of Medicine, Engineering, Science, and Technology (TAMEST) to exceptional researchers in the state.
