Indian ban of Chinese apps is against WTO rules: China

Ji Rong, spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in India, has said in a statement that China "firmly opposed" this decision and it is a "violation of World Trade Organisation rules.

While China's stance is against this move, the Indian government has claimed that these applications are engaged in activities that are "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the security of the state and public order."
