Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson showed great character when his team needed him the most against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). After openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal departed early in the powerplay, Samson took charge and led his team to a respectable total. Samson and Riyan Parag, who recently got promoted to the number 4 spot in the RR lineup, troubled the LSG bowling attack and posted 193/4 in 20 overs for RR.
