J&K: Suspected LeT militant killed in gunfight with security forces in Srinagar

A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, said the police. Srinagar police neutralized dreaded terrorist of proscribed terror outfit LeT Salim Parray.

Inspector-General of Police (Kashmir Zone) Vijay Kumar said on Monday afternoon that the operation was still on. Parray was among the longest surviving militants of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and had been active since 2006.
