Jadon Sancho missing from United squad due to family bereavement

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that the England international is missing from the match squad because a funeral was held earlier that day.

BBC Sport reporter Shamoon Hafez quoted the manager via Twitter, saying: “There was the funeral today, he asked me if he could (not play). It would not make sense for him to be part of the squad.”
