Jeff Bezos Made this Star Trek-inspired Art At Age 9, William Shatner Took it to Space

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is all set to send off a nostalgic piece of art made by him into space which was inspired by 'Star Trek'. Bezos sent off Captain James T. Kirk, played by actor William Shatner, to space for real.

Sharing this story with pictures of his artwork on Instagram, Bezos wrote, “I made these tricorders and communicators to play Star Trek with my friends when I was 9 years old, and my incredible mom saved them for 48 years. William Shatner has agreed to take them up into space for me tomorrow. Please don’t judge me for the artwork."
