Upgrad co-founder Ronnie Screwvala also spoke about growth in placements recorded by the edtech platform in 2023-24 and the shift in skilling needs of professionals with a surge in demand for courses in artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI’s job market is going through a rebalancing, especially in the tech and new-age sectors. He said the job market was on steroids immediately after Covid-19 with a rush of cash flow and that has normalised now.
