Karnataka: DK Shivakumar reveals govt plan to take over water tanker

To address the severe drinking water crisis in Bengaluru, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, cabinet ministers and the officials met in Bengaluru. Following the discussions, Deputy CM Shivakumar unveiled a comprehensive plan. Shivakumar also announced that the state government would take control of private water tankers in Bengaluru alongside the management of all the city's borewells.
