Karnataka govt to consider approaching SC to tackle stray dog menace

The state government on Tuesday informed the legislative assembly that it will look into the possible legal options to approach the Supreme Court on the issue of rooting out the stray dog menace in Bengaluru, and the rest of Karnataka.
Responding to a question raised by Basavanagudi BJP MLA Ravi Subramanya, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai had said that in the last four years as many as 1.75 lakh stray dogs have been sterilised in Bengaluru.
