Kerala: Minister unfurls national flag upside down

In an embarrassing goof-up, the national flag was unfurled upside down during the Republic Day celebration in Kerala's Kasaragod on Wednesday. Minister of Ports and Archaeology, Ahammad Devarkovil, who is the minister in charge of the district, unfurled the national flag at the municipal stadium at Vidyanagar.
It was the media persons covering the ceremony who pointed out the mistake following which the flag was brought down and hoisted again.
