Kerala CM Vijayan accuses Centre of weakening democratic system in country

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan alleged that the recent amendment to the Right to Information (RTI) Act was intended to make the (Central) Information Commission act per the whims and fancies of the political system in power at the Centre. Urging people and officials to be vigilant against such practices, he also stressed the need for bringing reforms in the RTI Act per the changing times.
