In a bid to cut the chain of transmission of the novel coronavirus and to minimise the potential of its spread, Kerala on Sunday amended the state Epidemic Disease Ordinance, putting the Covid-control regulations in the state in place for the next one year.
This means, people will have to wear masks, maintain social distancing and avoid large gatherings till July 2021. The District Collectors have been instructed to ensure due compliance of the regulations.
