Kharif crop sown at Hiranagar IB after 19 years

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Pandey along with Director Agriculture Jammu KK Sharma inaugurated the maiden sowing of Mash crop at Zero Line, across the fence on Indo Pak International Border, in Hiranagar sector today. The event was witnessed by a number of farmers along with government officials.
Director Agriculture congratulated farmers on the restoration of farming on the land earlier abandoned for 19 years.
