King Charles resumes public duties with visit to cancer treatment centre

On February 6, Buckingham Palace revealed King Charles III's temporary withdrawal from public life to focus on undisclosed cancer treatment. Accompanied by Queen Camilla, the royal couple met with both patients and staff at the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in London. This engagement is expected to be the first of many appearances Charles will make leading up to the state visit by the emperor and empress of Japan in June.
