Astronomers have now spotted landslides on Mars. The Exo-Mars Orbiter hovering above the Red Planet has captured images of surface material movement on the alien world.
The European Space Agency, said that landslides are geomorphological processes occurring under specific environmental conditions. "On Mars as on Earth, they come in various shapes and sizes, and Earth analogs are used to understand similar processes seen on planetary bodies."
