Lok Sabha Speaker questions the Maharashtra government about Navneet Rana's arrest

The Lok Sabha secretariat has asked for a “factual note” from the Maharashtra government on Amravati MP Navneet Rana's arrest and sought an explanation of her letter to Speaker Om Birla.
Ms. Rana and her MLA husband were arrested under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with assault or use of criminal force against a public servant in the execution of his duty and sedition.
