Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray launches electric Victoria carriages in Mumbai

Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday launched the electric Victoria carriages at Varsha, his official residence. The city’s iconic Victoria horse carriages are going to make a comeback on the city’s streets but without the horses.
The battery-operated carriages run a maximum speed of less than 20 km per hour. They look just like the original Victoria carriages but there are no horses.
