Maharashtra has seventh-highest percentage of rupee billionaire MPs

The data presents the absolute number of Lok Sabha members in various states who declared assets worth more than Rs 100 crore in their affidavits for the 2019 general election. Telangana has the highest percentage of billionaire MPs, with almost 1 out of 4 of its MPs in this category. West Bengal and Tamil Nadu each have 3%. Andhra Pradesh has the most such MPs (4), followed by Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and UP (3 each).
