Maidaan takes a decent start with paid previews adding Rs 2.6 crore

Similar to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Maidaan opened doors for the audience for paid previews on April 10. As per Sacnilk, Maidaan earned Rs 4.5 crore nett in India on day 1, bringing the total opening day collection to Rs 7.10 crore including the Rs 2.6 crore from paid reviews. While content-wise Maidaan is supreme, the more eyeball-grabbing project is the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer, which promises to be a mass entertainer.
