Man booked for raping a Navi Mumbai woman for over two years

A man from Ahmednagar is accused of repeatedly raping a 25-year-old woman employed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. "As per the complaint, the man and woman developed a friendship, after which he raped her several times between October 2022 and January this year. He exploited her by threatening to defame her. We registered a rape case on Saturday but are yet to arrest the accused,” an official from Kamote police station said.
