Man fatally stabbed for staring at two women smoking cigarettes in Maharashtra

Jayashree Panjhade and her friend Savita Sayre were smoking near a shop in Mahalaxmi Nagar in the city of Nagpur, on Saturday night when the 28-year-old Ranjit Rathod came and began staring at the two women, said the police. Reportedly, the women were angered when Rathod, who was also there to buy cigarettes, started staring at them. Subsequently, an argument broke out, which soon escalated into a fight which the 28-year-old had reportedly recorded.
