Indian boxing ace MC Mary Kom’s Commonwealth Games trials concluded in grief after the six-time world champion suffered a knee injury and was forced to pull out.
It’s now revealed that Mary sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and will undergo reconstruction surgery. On Friday, Mary Kom suffered a twist in her left knee within minutes of the opening round and had to withdraw from the fight.
