MCA imposes penalty of Rs. 12,22,800 on Company & Directors for not filing Annual Returns

MCA imposes a total penalty of Rs. 12,22,800 on ‘Unique Green Energy India Private Limited’ and its directors for violation of Section 92 (non-filing of Annual Return) and 137 (non-filing of Financial Statement) of the Companies Act, 2013 for the financial year 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-2020 & 2020-21. The Adjudication notices were issued on 13.06.2022 to the Company and its directors for non-filing of Statutory Returns but the company has not filed Statutory Returns for which SCN was issued.
