Mercury climbs to 41.7 degree Celsius in Gujarat

The India Meteorological Department ( IMD ) on Friday indicated that there would be no immediate respite from the intense heat in city Ahmedabad (Gujarat).
The city's maximum temperature was 41.7 degrees celsius, which was 3.7 degrees higher than normal. At 43.4 degrees, Bhuj was the hottest weather station in Gujarat , followed by 42.2 degrees in Kandla and 42.1 degrees in Rajkot.
