Meta faces lawsuit not remedying Instagram induced health crisis

More than 30 states in the United States have sued Meta Platforms for its Instagram unit, accusing them of fueling a youth mental health crisis by making their platforms' social networks addictive and not finding a solution to this despite the fact that these problems are with acquaintances. Attorneys general from 33 states claim in their indictment that Meta repeatedly misled the public about the dangers of its platforms.
