Monsoon Fury: 50 dead in rain-related incidents

At least 50 people have died in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha over the last three days in flash floods and landslides triggered by intense monsoon rains, according to news agency Reuters.
In Jammu, the yatra to the Vaishno Devi shrine atop Trikuta hills in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir was temporarily suspended on Friday evening following heavy rain.
