Mumbai Customs seize gold worth Rs 4 cr over three days

Mumbai Customs seized over 7.57 kg of gold valued at Rs 4.06 crore and a high-end phone in nine separate cases, Airport Commissionerate reported. Gold was smuggled using the retail staff of a mobile company and concealed in a hot plate, a bicycle, an aircraft seat, a corner piping of a bag, and a check-in bag. Earlier, customs officials at Mumbai Airport intercepted gold totalling 6.33 kilograms, valued at 3.49 crore rupees in 5 separate cases.
