Mumbai girl breaks age record to hike Everest Base Camp

Proving the age-old adage that age is just a number, 10-year-old Rhythm Mamania has become one of the youngest people in the world to trek to Everest Base Camp, situated at an altitude of 5,364 metres. Besides being an avid trekker, Rhythm is also a sub-junior national-level artistic skater.

Speaking of her journey to the base camp, Rhythm says that her parents were her biggest supporters. They always believed in her and told her that she could do it.
