Mumbai Indians won their first game of IPL 2024 after three successive losses, beating Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium. Chasing 235, Prithvi Shaw scored his first half-century of the season while Tristan Stubbs got his second in a row but DC were unable to see through a stiff chase as Jasprit Bumrah struck twice. Delhi now sit at the bottom owing to the net run rate difference. RR, KKR, CSK and LSG are currently in the top four.
