It began, like so many strokes of inspiration do, with a memory: the smell of her grandmother’s rose petal perfume. For Naso’s Astha Suri, whose family began manufacturing perfumes in 1952, nostalgia and contemporaneity are inextricably linked. At Naso, her priorities were twin fold: to create patently one-of-a-kind fragrances that honoured tradition without being outdated and to educate her customers about the healing properties of aromatherapy.
